The confidence book is a personalised children’s book full of little courage-building stories about starting school. Your child is the brave hero on every page – drawn into every illustration from your photo, with their name and the right pronoun (she or he) in the text. A book that gives your child courage for the big step ahead.

You upload a photo of your child – and that photo is the model for every illustration in the book. Girls stay girls, boys stay boys. So every page shows your child as the hero of their own story.

We use your photo for one thing only: making the book for your child. To do that we pass it to a specialist AI provider, who processes it on our instructions and for that purpose alone – not for their own ends, and not for AI training. On our own servers (in the EU) it is deleted automatically once the book is made. We never sell your photo and never use it for advertising. There’s more detail in our privacy policy.

The confidence book is loveliest around the start of school – so for children of about 5 to 7. It also makes a wonderful birthday present for slightly older children.

Every illustration in the book shows your child, drawn from your photo. Your child’s name appears in the text as well, and the wording adapts to a girl or a boy (she or he).

High-quality art paper, printed in Germany. You can choose between a softcover and a hardcover. Both are made with the same care.
